(Milan, Ind.) - Opposing teams will be happy when Kynadee Bode and Mallory Eaglin graduate.

The Milan High School softball duo has been wreaking havoc on opposing teams since they were freshmen. Now that they are approaching their senior seasons on the diamond, both have decided what their futures hold behind high school.

Bode will continue her playing career at the University of Illinois Chicago, while Eaglin will stay closer to home and play at Mount St. Joseph University.

As a junior, Bode was named to the SCAI 2A/A First Team. The Indians' star hit .674 with 10 home runs, 54 runs, and 58 RBI. She also went 19-8 in the pitching circle with a 2.74 ERA and 214 strikeouts in 155.2 innings pitched.

Eaglin certainly put up All-State numbers, hitting .543 with six home runs and 39 RBI. She also scored 17 times.

Both were All-ORVC selections last season.
