Mid-Indiana Football All-Conference Team Honored At Awards Banquet

Milan led the way with seven all-conference selections.

(Milan, Ind.) - The best team and players from the Mid-Indiana Football Conference were recognized this week at the conference's annual end of the season awards banquet. 

Milan and Oldenburg Academy hosted the Mid-Indiana Football Conference Banquet on Monday to announce the 2018 MIFC All-Conference Team, scholarship winners and present the MIFC championship trophy to the Milan Indians.

The Indians won the MIFC with a perfect 5-0 record against conference rivals. Seven Milan players headlined the 2018 MIFC All-Conference Team: Zach Hauser, Dakotah Knueven, Dakota Sams, Chandler Reatherford, Orrin Schmidt, Tyler Smith and Brady Stehlin.

Third-place Switzerland County placed four on the all-conference team, while Oldenburg Academy had three all-conference selections.

The 2018 MIFC Scholarship winners are Zack Giles (Edinburgh), David Carpenter (Milan), P.J. Fisse (North Decatur), Sean Rees (Oldenburg Academy), Trent Nobbe (South Decatur) and Logan Skaggs (Switzerland County).

Oldenburg Academy (2-3): Dominic McFee, Matthew Sedler, Eli Sporleder

Edinburgh (0-6): Bryce Burton, Tyson Sackman
