Longtime Conner HS Football Coach Passes Away Unexpectedly

(Hebron, Ky.) - Conner High School and the surrounding community is mourning the loss of David Trosper. 

The longtime Conner football head coach passed away unexpectedly on Saturday. He was 55. 

Trosper led the Conner football program since 2007, making him the longest tenured coach in Northern Kentucky. 

In 2018, he was inducted into the Northern Kentucky Sports Hall of Fame. 

Prior to coaching at Conner, Trosper was at Holmes for six seasons, including five as head coach. He also coached at Morehead State University. 

Trosper, a 1988 graduate of Boone County High School, was a three-year letter winner and received Second Team All-State his senior year. He went on to play linebacker at Union College.
