IHSAA 4A Sectional 14 at Bloomington South – First Round

East Central 3, Columbus East 2 – 21-25, 25-19, 19-25, 25-15, 15-11 – EC’s Molly Gregg posted 16 kills, 32 digs, 2 aces, 31 assists, and a block in the come-from-behind victory. Alex Disbro added 33 digs and 2 aces. Ashley Dudley had 20 digs and 2 aces.

“We pushed hard with our serve and it was backed up with great defense and a strong offense,” said EC coach Cassie Laker. “Our block did a great job at slowing the ball down so our defense had time to react and get to the ball. Our sectional is always extremely tough, so this was a good first win for us. It doesn't get easier from here though. We have to continue to play our game at the highest level.”
