Jac-Cen-Del 67, South Dearborn 66 – Brandon Baber helped JCD edge South Dearborn with 24 points.

Greensburg 63, Batesville 53 – Robert Raver scored 20 points for Batesville, while Trey Heidlage had 10 points.

South Ripley 53, Trinity Lutheran 50

Oldenburg Academy 58, Edinburgh 40 – Jake Johnson had a monster game with 29 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals. Zach Wegman added 13 points for OA.

Milan 56, Lawrenceburg 45 – Eagle Country 99.3 Feature Game – Gavin Yoon had the big night for Lawrenceburg with 26 points and 9 rebounds. Zach Mollaun added 6 points and 11 rebounds for LHS. Milan’s Joel Norman had 13 and Peyton Wert had 12 points and 3 assists. Adam Norman had 9 points and 11 rebounds.

East Central 57, Richmond 55

Franklin County 55, Centerville 50 overtime

Rising Sun 64, South Decatur 42 - Seniors Wesley Rider and Noah Pflum each had 13 for the Shiners in the winning effort.

South Ripley 52, North Decatur 47

Crothersville 63, Switzerland County 61 – Damian Breeck scored 19 points for Switz.

Oldenburg Academy 64, Morristown 47 – For the second consecutive game, Jake Johnson poured in 29 points. Kris Hetzer scored 12.

 

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Lawrenceburg 58, Milan 33 – Eagle Country 99.3 Feature Game – Juliana Kemper led Lawrenceburg with 18 points. Bruns paced Milan with 13.

East Central 50, Jennings County 33 – Brilan McCory starred for East Central with 22 points, 3 assists, 3 steals, and 2 rebounds. Logan Cox added 10 points, 6 boards, and 3 steals.

Jac-Cen-Del 67, South Dearborn 35 – Paige Ledford had a double-double with 16 points and 13 rebounds for JCD. Mariah Day had 11 points and Regan Carroll added 10.

Batesville 44, Shelbyville 32

Switzerland County 67, Christian Academy 22

Oldenburg Academy 69, South Decatur 43 – Four Oldenburg players scored in double figures: Katie Kinker 15 points, Katie Johnson 14, and Hanna Hurm and Alex Bamonte with 10 each.

SD Boys, Girls Fall At Home

The Taylor (Ohio) Yellow Jackets defeated South Dearborn in the pool in Aurora on Saturday. The Taylor Girls won 123-21, while the boys score was 94-51. South Dearborn’s event winners were Holly Kraemer (500 free and 100 backstroke), Isaac Houze (50 free and 100 free), and Quinton Rowlette (200 free and 100 fly).

 

Bulldogs Second at Madison Invitational

Batesville’s boys and girls swim teams each came in second place at the four-team Madison Invitational on Saturday. In the girls competition, North Harrison won with 339 points, followed by Batesville’s 245, Madison’s 196, and Silver Creek’s 96. The boys team standings were Madison 305, Batesville 237, North Harrison 201, and Silver Creek 38. Batesville’s event winners included  Kate Poltrack (500), Sean Callahan (500), 200 Free Relay (Maria Lopez, Sonja Gaulin, Gwen Martin, Poltrack), and Maria Lopez (100 Breast).
