FRIDAY, MARCH 4

BOYS BASKETBALL

Class 4A Sectional 14 at Martinsville - Semifinals

Bloomington North 60, Columbus North 55 (2OT)

Bloomington South 60, East Central 42 - The Trojans end the season with a 15-8 record.

*Bloomington North would go on to win the sectional 32-28 (OT) vs. Bloomington South.

 

Class 3A Sectional 29 at Connersville - Semifinals 

Lawrenceburg 57, South Dearborn 51 (OT) - The Tigers rallied from 11 points down in the 4th quarter. South Dearborn ends the season with a 14-8 record. 

  • Jackson Bobo (LB): 15 points
  • Garrett Yoon (LB): 15 points
  • Ryan Willoughby (SD): 21 points
  • Eli Hoffman (SD): 11 points

Franklin County 51, Greensburg 35

 

Class 2A Sectional 44 at South Ripley - Semifinals 

South Ripley 61, South Decatur 44

Triton Central 62, North Decatur 57

 

Class 2A Sectional 45 at Southwestern (Hanover) - Semifinals

Providence 56, Switzerland County 26 - The Pacers end the season with an 11-14 record. 

Southwestern 57, Clarksville 54

*Providence would go on to win the sectional 56-32 over Southwestern. 

 

Class 1A Sectional 60 at Southwestern (Shelbyville) - Semifinals

Jac-Cen-Del 74, Waldron 60

Hauser 61, Oldenburg Academy 28

 

 

SATURDAY, MARCH 5

BOYS BASKETBALL

Class 3A Sectional 29 at Connersville - Championship

Lawrenceburg 45, Franklin County 39 - The Tigers capture their 30th sectional title in program history and their first since 2009. Lawrenceburg will play Evansville Bosse at the Washington Regional on Saturday, March 12 at 10:00 AM. Franklin County ends the season with a 18-6 record. 

 

 

Class 2A Sectional 44 at South Ripley - Championship

Triton Central 40, South Ripley 35 - The Raiders end the season a 13-11 record. 

 

Class 1A Sectional 60 at Southwestern (Shelbyville) - Championship

Jac-Cen-Del 61, Hauser 46 - The Eagles will play Bloomfield at the Martinsville Regional on Saturday, March 12 at noon.
