LHS League of Legends Team to Play for State Championship

The state title match will be played at Ball State University.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - The Lawrenceburg High School eSports team has made another run at State. 

On Saturday, April 27, the LHS League of Legends team will take on Carmel High School in the State Finals. The match will be contested at Ball State University at 8:30 a.m. and can be streamed on the Indiana Esports Network Twitch at https://www.twitch.tv/indianahsen.

Last April, the LHS Super Smash Bros. team made the state championship. 

The Tigers League team carries a 7-1-4 (wins-ties-losses) record into the state finals. 

They defeated Ben Davis in the semifinals 2-0. 

LHS League of Legends team members include Konnor Powell (Captain), Aaron Summers, Jack Banta, Tristan Garland, Jacob Souders, Ethan Harty, and Stryker Knotts. 

League of Legends (LoL) is a multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game developed by Riot Games in 2009. This PC-only game is free to play and boasts more than 150 million players.

The object of the game is two teams of five players battling to destroy the opposing team’s base.
