LHS Announces 2020 Homecoming Candidates

The winners will be announced during halftime of the Tigers boys basketball game on Saturday.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - It's homecoming week at Lawrenceburg High School.

The Tigers boys basketball team hasn't played a home game since December 13 when they defeated Batesville 57-49. 

On Thursday, the Tigers (7-2) return home for a tilt against Bellvue (Ky.). Then on Saturday the North Decatur Chargers come to town on Homecoming Night. 

This year's candidates for Homecoming King are seniors Gavin Yoon, Andrew Rennekamp, Mitch McCool and Kamar Chenault. Seniors up for Homecoming Queen are Rylie Hutcherson, Juliana Kemper, Macie Radenheimer and Abby Walston. 

Junior princess candidates are Brooke Karsteter, Brooklynn Allen, Ashten Lorton. Connor Bellamy, Adam Burd and Jon Askins are the junior candidates for prince. 

Sophomore homecoming candidates include Chloe Meyer, Malissa McClinton, Kaiya Honchell)Jayce Bohan, Ashton Craig and Ethan Gabbard

Brooke Smith, Sophia Linkmeyer, Emma Abdon, Jared Whitelock, Brennan Bushman and Sam Cornett will represent the freshman class as homecoming candidates. 

The winners will be announced during halftime of the varsity game. Tip-off is scheduled for approximately 7:30 p.m.
