(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – It will be easy to pick out Jason Morton on the football field this fall.

The 6’9”, 310 pound Lawrenceburg Tigers offensive lineman is looking to have a big year after his 2018 season was cut short due to injury.

Despite limited experience at the high school level, Morton verbally committed to Miami (Oh.) University back in May.

Morton’s commitment appears to be strong after receiving an official scholarship offer in the mail on Thursday.

Lawrenceburg head coach Ryan Knigga expects Morton to anchor the Tigers offensive line, along with Daulton Dixon, Ethan Parris, Jack Bradley and Sam Thayer, among others.

The Tigers will open the 2019 season on Friday, August 23 when they host the East Central Trojans. Eagle Country 99.3’s Mike Perleberg and Chuck Thomas will have the call.
