Lawrenceburg to Play Mishawaka Marian for Girls Soccer State Championship

Eagle Country 99.3 plans to broadcast the game this Saturday.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - The Lawrenceburg Lady Tigers are one win away from winning their first-ever soccer state championship. 

Lawrenceburg defeated Brebeuf Jesuit by a score of 1-0 in a Class 2A Semi-State on Saturday afternoon at Martinsville High School. 

Senior forward Morgan Manford scored the lone goal off a Riley O'Brien assist, while Hillary Knippenberg pitched her 15th clean sheet of the season. 

The #2 Tigers (20-1) will take on #3 Mishawaka Marian (16-3-2) in the Class 2A State Championship game on Saturday at IU Indy's Michael Carroll Track & Soccer Stadium. 

This is Lawrenceburg's second state championship appearance. They fell to Andrean (2-0) in the Class A State Championship Game in 2016. 

Eagle Country 99.3 plans to broadcast Saturday's State Championship Game starting at 1:15 p.m.
