IHSAA Releases Girls Basketball Sectional Pairings for 50th Anniversary State Tournament

Teams around the state are ready to celebrate the Golden Milestone.

INDIANAPOLIS - The IHSAA will host its 50th annual Girls Basketball State Tournament beginning Tuesday, February 4.  

The golden milestone will celebrate the athletes who have competed fiercely, fans who have supported passionately, and communities that have embodied the spirit of basketball in every corner of the Hoosier State.  

On Sunday evening, the IHSAA announced sectional pairings for the 391 teams that will compete across four classifications.  

Sectional games will run February 4-8, followed by a single-game regional on Saturday, February 15. Two-game semi-states will take place on Saturday, February 22.  

Four state champions will be crowned on Saturday, March 1 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in downtown Indianapolis.  

Locally, Greensburg and Jac-Cen-Del are seeking repeat sectional championships. See sectional pairings for local schools below.

G1: Columbus East vs. Whiteland Community (Tuesday, Feb. 4)
