On Wednesday night, the Lady Wildcats captured the Southwest Ohio Conference championship with a 44-20 win over Talawanda. The win capped off a perfect 6-0 record in conference play and ran Harrison's overall record to 16-0.
Shelby Piepmeier and Madi Scudder led the way with 11 points each. Abby Smith added 10 points, and University of Southern Indiana commit Alli Robertson chipped in with nine points.
Harrison is averaging 53.8 points per game this season, while allowing only 26.2 points per game. That gives the Lady Wildcats an average margin of victory of 27.6 points.
Robertson, the school's all-time leading scorer, currently leads the conference in scoring at 22.6 PPG. She also leads the conference in rebounding (10.8) and blocks per game (3.0). Piepmeier is the SWOC leader in assists at 3.6 per contest.
Harrison has six regular season games left. Next up is a matchup with Milford on Saturday, February 1 at 2:30 p.m.
