Guilford Native Moves Through Transfer Portal from Purdue to Ohio St.

(Guilford, Ind.) – Max Clare is moving from one Big Ten team to another.

The Guilford native and former St. Xavier star made a move through the transfer portal on Monday when he committed to Ohio State University.

Klare was the top tight end in the NCAA transfer portal after he caught 51 passes for 685 yards and four touchdowns for the Purdue Boilermakers this fall.

For his efforts, Klare was named Third-Team All-Big Ten. 

He will have two years of eligibility left at Ohio State.
