Former Batesville Star Earns HCAC Men's Basketball Athlete of the Week

(Terre Haute, Ind.) - Former Batesville Bulldog Cole Pride has been named the HCAC Men's Basketball Athlete of the Week. 

Pride, a 6'8" sophomore at Rose-Hulman, had a career-night last Wednesday, scoring 29 points on 12-of-18 shooting in a 101-78 win over Earlham. 

He also grabbed eight rebounds and was 9-of-9 from inside the arc. 

The Athlete of the Week award s the first of Pride's career. 

This season, he is averaging 10.6 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game. In the class room, Pride is a Civil Engineering major.
