(Brookville, Ind.) – A Franklin County High School girls soccer standout has “scored” an opportunity to play at the collegiate level.

On Thursday, Hannah Surber signed her letter of intent to continue her academic and athletic career at Mount St. Joseph University in Cincinnati.

Surber was one of the primary goal scorers for the Lady Wildcats this past season, earning a spot on the EIAC Girls Soccer All-Conference Team. The Lady Wildcats star says she will continue playing outside midfield at The Mount, where her mom is an alumnus.

“I think mostly I’ve always wanted to go there because my mom went there, and then also my brother goes there and plays soccer,” said Surber.

Surber says she plans to major in Mathematics.
