EC's Trabel Selected for Top 60 Senior Workout

Trabel will be unable to participate due to injury.

INDIANAPOLIS - Josie Trabel has added another accolade to her already long list of accomplishments.

On Tuesday, the East Central senior was selected to the Top 60 Senior Girls list by Hoosier Basketball Magazine.

Each season, the top 60 senior girls are selected through statistical evaluation, game observation and statewide research. Those selected are then invited to attend the Top 60 Senior Workout, which will be held on Sunday, March 5 at Beech Grove High School.

Trabel, a Wofford College commit, will be unable to participate in the Top 60 Workout due to injury.

She was injured in East Central's first round sectional matchup with Columbus East on January 31.

Despite not being able to participate, Trabel certainly earned her selection as a Top 60 Senior player in the state. She averaged 20.3 points, 10.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 2.6 steals per game - leading the Lady Trojans to a third consecutive EIAC Championship.

Trabel's high school career has been spectacular. She holds several program records including career points (1,880), points in a season (527), points in a game (40), career player efficiency rating (3,338), season efficiency rating (980), game efficiency rating (58), career free throw makes (294), season free throw makes (89), career field goal makes (749), season field goal makes (206), and single game field goal makes (15).
