CINCINNATI – It was a Tuesday night to remember for the YES Home.

The nonprofit organization was named one of four recipients of a $100,000 Impact Grant at the Impact 100 Annual Awards Celebration at Music Hall in downtown Cincinnati.

The YES Home was named a finalist for the award in August.

Each of the seven finalists presented proposals to the Impact 100 members in June. The applications for funding included one of five key Impact areas, which are culture, education, environment, preservation & recreation, family, and health and wellness.

The YES Home plans to use the grant to renovate their facility.

“I woke up this morning wondering if it was all a dream,” said Amy Phillips, YES Home executive director. “The YES Home is honored to have been recognized and chosen among the amazing honorees. We are so thankful for the opportunity Impact 100 has given the YES Home. This grant is specifically for renovating the front part of the downstairs to create a private and therapeutic space for our therapist for counseling and a visit space for our families.”

The YES Home is a residential group home for youths ages 12-20, providing a structured, nurturing environment for abused, neglected and abandoned children. Learn more at https://www.yeshome.org/.
