(Harrison, Oh.) – A grant from the Ohio Department of transportation will help improve the West Road overpass in the City of Harrison.

The City has secured a grant to widen the bridge over Interstate 74, add a sidewalk and install streetlights.

The project, which is scheduled for 2022, will improve pedestrian safety on West Road by providing a safe connection for residents from one side of the bridge to the other.

Cost of the project is estimated at $1 million and will be completely funding by the grant from ODOT.
