(Undated) – A recent report lists Indiana as one of the best states to drive in.
According to WalletHub, Indiana is the 10th best state to drive in – ranking slightly higher than Kentucky (12th) and Ohio (13th).
The personal finance website compared all 50 states based on cost of ownership and maintenance, traffic and infrastructure, safety, and access to vehicles and maintenance.
Indiana received its highest mark under the cost of ownership and maintenance category, which included average gas prices, average annual car insurance premium, and auto-maintenance costs.
WalletHub ranked Iowa, Oklahoma, Kansas, North Carolina, and Texas as the top five states to drive in. The bottom five consists of Hawaii, Rhode Island, Delaware, California, and Maryland.
