Vevay Resident Accused Of Meth Dealing

A drug bust was made at a Pearl Street apartment on May 29.

(Vevay, Ind.) - Meth and marijuana were discovered in a Vevay apartment.

Vevay Police learned of drug activity in an apartment on the 500 block of Pearl Street. Officers searched the apartment of John D. Osborn on Tuesday, May 29.

Inside the home, officers allegedly found methamphetamine, marijuana, pills, syringes, drug paraphernalia and scales.

Osborn, 57, faces several charges including Dealing in Methamphetamine (level 5 felony), Possession of a Syringe (level 6 felony), Possession of Methamphetamine (level 6 felony), Maintaining a Common Nuisance (level 6 felony), Possession of Marijuana (class B misdemeanor), and Possession of Paraphernalia (class C misdemeanor).

He is being held in the Switzerland County Detention Center.

Vevay Police were assisted in the investigation by the Switzerland County Sheriff’s Department and Indiana State Police.
