(Versailles, Ind.) - The Town of Versailles was recently awarded an Indiana Department of Health Biking and Pedestrian Improvements Planning Grant to identify opportunities for more trails and sidewalk updates.

As of Friday morning, striping was completed on the Busching Bridge Connector Trail.

The Busching Bridge Connector Trail connects Versailles State Park to downtown Versailles.

The trail crosses Laughery Creek and follows State Road 2565 to Waterworks Road.

When you hit the trail, you will notice trail signage funded by Southeastern Indiana REMC’s Operation Roundup Grant program and trail kiosks constructed by the building trade class at Southeastern Career Center.
