Indiana State Police say a man who suffered a self-inflicted gunshot at his home near Milan has died.
Russell Holt, 71, died shortly after 2:00 a.m. Thursday at Univeristy Hospital in Cincinnati as a result of the gunshot.
Holt was the owner of the residence at 4383 North County Road 225 East near Milan where a shooting also occurred Sunday, December 4. Randy Isaacs, 52, of Greendale, died as a result of that shooting.
State police detectives are still investigating both incidents. Investigators are not releasing any other information at this time.

(Milan, Ind.) - Indiana State Police were called Wednesday to the same home for a second shooting in just four days.
On Sunday morning December 4, a man was found suffering from a gunshot at 4383 North County Road 225 East near Milan. That victim, Randy Isaacs, Sr., 52, of Greendale, later died at the hospital.
Police had to make a second trip to the home after the owner of that same residence, Russell Holt, 71, of Milan, shot himself Wednesday after 4:00 p.m.
Holt has been transported to University Hospital in Cincinnati in critical condition as of Wednesday evening.
While detectives say Holt’s gunshot was self-inflicted, they have not released information regarding whether Isaacs’ gunshot was caused by himself or somebody else. An “intense” investigation into the Isaacs shooting has been ongoing the past three days, said an Indiana State Police news release.
