(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - The rain keeps coming for the tri-state.

The National Weather Service has the entire Eagle 99.3 listening area under a Flood Watch through Thursday evening.

Meteorologists say the rain could get heavy at times during the afternoon as a low pressure system with moist air moves through the area.

A total of two inches of rain is expected today. The ground is already saturated, so the new rainfall could cause some creeks and streams to flood.

Perfect North Slopes has announced it is until at least 4:00 p.m. Thursday because of all the rain. The ski area will decide by 2:00 p.m. whether to suspend operations through the evening.

It’s been a difficult 32nd season for Perfect North Slopes with more rain than snow during this mild winter. The ski area had to close for a day on January 18 also because of rain.
