The separate single-vehicle accidents on Sunday and Monday involved a semi and a motorcycle.

(Brookville, Ind.) – Two men had to be flown to area hospitals following separate crashes in Franklin County this week.
On Sunday, Franklin County Sheriff’s deputies say Steven P. Leist, 41, of Cincinnati was operating a semi with a tanker trailer on U.S. 52, just west of West Roberts Road when he lost control of the semi and struck and fence and utility pole.
The semi eventually overturned before coming to a rest.
Leist was flown to UC Medical Center with unknown injuries.
Franklin County Sheriff’s deputies were then called to the scene of a motorcycle accident on Monday around 1:49 a.m. on Stipps Hill Road at the intersection with Davison Road.
Deputies say Devin Bryce Bennington, 24, was traveling eastbound on Stipps Hill Road when he lost control and ran off the road into a ditch. Bennington was ejected from the motorcycle.
He was flown from the scene with multiple injuries. His current condition is unknown.
Deputies say Bennington was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
