Tornado Confirmed in Ripley County

The tornado is estimated to have begun at 7:54 PM and ended at 7:56 PM.

(Napoleon, IN) - The National Weather Service office in Wilmington, Ohio, has confirmed that an EF-0 tornado occurred near Napoleon Indiana on the evening of March 30th. 

The tornado caused occasional tree and home damage from about 2 miles west-southwest of Napoleon to about 1 mile south of Napoleon. Maximum winds were estimated to be around 80 mph. Based on radar, the tornado is estimated to have begun at 7:54 PM and ended at 7:56 PM. 

The National Weather Service in Wilmington thanked the Ripley County Indiana Emergency Management for providing information to assist with the survey.
