Three Juveniles Arrested For Crime Spree

(Napoleon, Ind.) – Police have arrested a group of juveniles accused of burglarizing and vandalizing the small Ripley County town of Napoleon.

The three juveniles – who are unidentified because of their age – were arrested early Friday morning.

“This has been a large investigation with multiple victims, and we still do not have them all,” Sheriff Tom Grills said.

Ripley County Sheriff’s Office investigators Sgt. Corky Houseworth and Major David Pippin have been investigating the complaints for several months. Among the incidents are a burglary at Boehner’s Market, multiple thefts, and criminal mischief.

During the arrest, a stolen handgun and other items taken from throughout the town were confiscated by police.

As the investigation continues, Sheriff Grills is urging potential victims to call his office and report incidents that occurred. Victims who have contacted other area law enforcement should also call the sheriff’s office, (812) 689-5555.

Residents need to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity.

“People know that we may not be able to do much, but a few clues can make or break a case.   We are all in this together to make our community a better place to live,” Grills said.
