Boone County Sheriff’s investigators and school administrators investigated a fourth threat against Ryle since Sunday.

The latest social media post was made Tuesday evening by a 17-year-old girl. Police say the threat on Snapchat read, “since nobody showed up to school today just wait till tomorrow, i’m going to drive past the cafeteria during 3rd lunch with my dad’s machine gun and just shoot non stop”.

The girl admitted to making the post during questioning.

Before she was taken into custody, the teen attempted to run from police. She was caught and is now lodged at the Campbell County Juvenile Detention Center.

The teen has been charged with Terroristic Threatening 2nd Degree, Fleeing and Evading Police 2nd Degree, and Resisting Arrest.

Two 15-year-old boys were arrested Monday for publishing threatening statements against Ryle High School on Monday, following the arrest of a 17-year-old male for the first online threat made Sunday evening.

Classes are scheduled as normal at Ryle on Wednesday. Extra police will be present once again.

Boone County Schools have released yet another statement, reasserting the district will continue to work with police on ensuring the safety of students and staff.
