(Hebron, Ky.) - Police are asking the public for help in identifying two males, perhaps in their teens, suspected of breaking into four vehicles in Hebron.
Boone County Sheriff's investigators say a family reported that their vehicles had been broken into as they were parked in their driveway on Thursday, September 22. Taken from the two vehicles were an iPod, GPS unit, and a purse containing cash and an ATM card.
The card had been used to withdraw $500 cash from the 5/3 Bank branch in Hebron at about 4:09 a.m., before the victims were able to cancel the card. A surveillance camera at the ATM took photographs of the two male subjects.
Two similar thefts occured more recently. Overnight October 29, two more Hebron residents reported that items were taken from their cars. An ATM card was used in an attempted withdrawal at the U.S. Bank in Hebron.
