Switz. Co. Native Joins Purdue Extension

(Switzerland County, Ind.) – Switzerland County native Hailey Dornbusch is returning to her roots.

Purdue Extension – Switzerland County announced today that Dornbusch has been hired as their new Health and Human Sciences / 4-H Youth Development Educator.

Dornbusch grew up on a farm in Switzerland County and was 10-year members of 4H. Through her hands-on experience of working with food she found a passion for sustainable food systems.

As a result, she attended Johnson and Wales University and obtained an Associate’s in Culinary Arts and a Bachelor’s in Food Service Management.

Dornbusch has spent multiple years working in the food industry.

“Through her position as an Extension Educator, Hailey is excited to learn through the process of teaching others while also getting to be a member of a community that once helped her grow up,” reads a statement from Purdue Extension – Switzerland County.
