Suspicious Trailer Fire Under Investigation

A reward is being offered for information leading to a conviction of the person(s) responsible.

(Dillsboro, Ind.) - An investigation is underway after a suspicious trailer fire took place in Dillsboro. 

On Thursday, May 22 at approximately 6:15 p.m., Dillsboro Fire responded to a vacant trailer fire on Michelle Lane. 

Upon arrival, the trailer was found to be nearly fully engulfed. A nearby trailer also suffered damage to the exterior but remained livable. 

There were no injuries reported but the fire remains under investigation by the State Fire Marshal's Office due to the suspicious circumstances. 

If you have information that can help in this investigation you are requested to call (800) 382-4628. You can remain anonymous. A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for any information that leads to the conviction of the person(s) responsible for the fire.
