Indiana State Police began the investigation in October 2017

(Sunman, Ind.) - A Sunman man has been jailed after a six month long child molesting investigation.

Indiana State Police Detectives were notified in October of 2017 that Dickie D. Gould, 84, had allegedly molested a female juvenile on multiple occasions over the past couple years.

Investigators said the alleged incidents happened at Gould's residence in Ripley County and at another residence in Dearborn County.

Gould is also accused of showing the juvenile pornographic images.

He was arrested Tuesday in Dearborn County and charged with four felony counts of Child Molesting and one felony count of Dissemination of Harmful Material to a Minor.

Gould remains in custody at the Dearborn County Law Enforcement Center, as he awaits his initial appearance in Dearborn County Circuit Court.
