(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - A Sunman man is accused of dealing in methamphetamine.
Scott M. Vaughn Jr., 24, was arrested on Tuesday and charged with Dealing in Methamphetamine at Least Five Grams But Less Than 10 Grams (Level 3 felony), Possession of Methamphetamine (Level 6 felony), Possession of a Syringe (Level 6 felony) and Possession of Paraphernalia (Class C misdemeanor).
According to a probable cause affidavit, Vaughn dealt approximately 6.44 grams of methamphetamine in the Kroger parking lot in Lawrenceburg.
Aurora Police say Vaughn was also in possession of a syringe, a clear plastic baggie containing a clear crystal substance, numerous empty plastic baggies, a piece of straw and $300 cash.
During questioning at the Dearborn County Law Enforcement Center, Vaughn allegedly stated he was only selling methamphetamine to pay bills.
