State Senator Raatz Running for Congress

Raatz is seeking the Republican nomination for US House of Representatives in Indiana's 6th Congressional District.

(Richmond, Ind.) – State Senator Jeff Raatz (R-Richmond) has filed candidacy in the Republican primary for the United States House of Representatives in Indiana’s 6th Congressional District.

Raatz currently represents District 27 in the Indiana Senate, which includes Henry, Union and Wayne counties and a portion of Franklin County.

“Our nation is at a tipping point,” said Raatz. “If we do not dramatically change course in Washington D.C. – very quickly – the United States of America will no longer be the land of the free and the home of the brave. It’s a sobering thought, and something I think about on a daily basis. I am deeply concerned about the future of our United States, and that is why I am running to represent Indiana’s 6th District in the US House of Representatives.”

Indiana’s 6th District is composed of all or portions of the following counties: Bartholomew, Fayette, Hancock, Henry, Johnson, Rush, Shelby, Union, and Wayne.
