(Greendale, Ind.) – It has been four years since St. Elizabeth Healthcare first announced plans to open a medical office building in Greendale.

On Tuesday, April 10, the public will have its first chance to check out the 25,000-square-foot, single-story, multi-million dollar facility on Flossie Drive. An open house is planned from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.

The event will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Dearborn County Chamber of Commerce, speakers, tours, and light refreshments.

Once open, the building will house primary care physicians and an urgent care clinic. Specialty rotations include neurology, spine and pain management, behavioral health, podiatry, endocrinology, dermatology, and weight management. Additional specialties will be added in the future. There is also room for future expansion.

“Our goal is to increase patient access,” said Jacob Bast, Senior Vice President and COO at St. Elizabeth Physicians. “This facility further supports our commitment to connecting patients to their primary care provider and coordinating care with other specialists and healthcare services.”

Northern Kentucky-based St. Elizabeth Healthcare engaged Anchor Health Properties to develop the project. Local companies Maxwell Construction and Champlin Architecture were hired as the project’s general contractor and architect, respectively.

“Our long-standing relationship with St. Elizabeth Healthcare coupled with the strategic vision to continually offer high-quality patient care and bring innovative provider solutions to the market led to the successful completion of this MOB on-time and on-budget,” said Eric Forbes, Anchor Health Properties Senior Director of Construction. “Together, we created a cost-effective, outpatient venue that provides a comfortable and welcoming experience for patients and their families.”

Anchor will manage the property.
