Small Plane Crashes Near Rabbit Hash

(Rabbit Hash, Ky.) - A pilot is hospitalized after a plane crash late Tuesday night in Boone County.

 

A Cessna 210 went down in a field off the 5400 block of Dale Williamson Road about three miles east of Rabbit Hash just before 11:00. A resident who witnessed the crash called for help.

 

The 55-year-old pilot from New York was taken by aircare to University Hospital in Cincinnati. His name and current condition have not been released.

 

Emergency crews spent a while searching for a possible passenger who was also in the aircraft when it went down, but later determined there was no passenger.

 

The Federal Aviation Administration arrived on scene overnight to begin investigating the plane crash.
