(Harrison, Oh.) - On Wednesday, May 31st, Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Jay Gramke presented the inaugural “HCSO Character Awards” to six young men who graduated from 5th grade at Miami Whitewater Elementary school.
These young leaders were acknowledged for their kindness, respect, and integrity to a beloved 4th grader at their school named Tuck. Tuck is a very special young man, and the award winners spent weeks helping him with his performance for the school talent show. They did it on their own time, and it was a gesture that no one in the audience will ever forget.
"We are so proud of these young leaders, and grateful for their service to the school and as role models for other young people in the community," said Gramke.
The HCSO Character Award winners are Eli Hardy, Winston Cummings, Parker Besterman, Finnigan Lockhart, Blake Sawyer, and Trenton Taylor.
