Single Vehicle Accident Claims Life of Cincinnati Woman

The accident took place this morning at the intersection of State Road 1 and U.S. 52.

(Franklin County, Ind.) – Franklin County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a fatal crash early Monday morning in Cedar Grove.

The single vehicle accident took place at the intersection of State Road 1 and U.S. 52.

The preliminary investigation found that Kathleen Scott, 21, or Cincinnati, was northbound on State Road 1. For an unknown reason, Scott failed to stop at the intersection of U.S. 52 causing her vehicle to travel over U.S. 52.

Scott’s vehicle ended up off the north side of the roadway and overturned.

She was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
