UPDATE: Interstate 74 has reopened in both directions, according to Sgt. Stephen Wheeles.
(West Harrison, Ind.) - A semi crash has Interstate 74 shut down in the West Harrison area.
Indiana State Police Sgt. Stephen Wheeles reports that a semi struck multiple concrete barriers in the construction zone on I-74 near the 168 mile marker in eastern Dearborn County around 5:00 a.m.
All westbound lanes are shut down, and may be closed for an extended time due to the accident in the West Harrison area.
An eastbound lane is open but will remain slow through the area, according to Wheeles.
No other information has been provided at this time.
