Search Continues for Missing 9-Year-Old

She is missing from the Florence, Kentucky area.

(Florence, Ky.) - The Boone County Sheriff's Office reports there is an active search for a missing 9-year-old female in the Florence area.

Jenny Din was last seen walking on Macintosh Lane toward Afton Drive around 5:30 p.m. Friday.

She was wearing a blueish jacket described as "mint", pink headphones and no shoes. Jenny is non-verbal.

If anyone locates Jenny Din, please dial 911 immediately.

At approximately 5:00 a.m. Saturday, in a joint decision with Boone County Emergency Management, the mutual aid search for the missing juvenile in Florence was suspended.

There are assets still working in the area and patrols in the area will continue the search.
