Scrappers Stealing From Tornado Victims

(Indianapolis, Ind.) - Five people are accused of stealing scrap metal from tornado victims in southern Indiana.

 

Last week, Sabrina Bradley, of New Albany, was arrested putting reels of copper wire into her car at the Washington County Rural Telephone Company last Thursday. She is charged preliminarily with theft from a telecommunications provider, receiving stolen property and false informing.

 

On Friday, Darrell and Debora Crane, also of New Albany, were caught allegedly stealing scrap metal from several disaster areas in Washington County.

 

Douglas and David Sizemore were arrested for allegedly swiping scrap metal from an area near Henryville. They each face charges of theft and criminal trespass.
