Rising Sun’s Summer Fest features Eagles Tribute Band

The family friendly event takes place Saturday, June 11.

(Rising Sun, Ind.) - Ohio County Tourism, Inc. in Rising Sun will be presenting the Rising Sun Summer Fest on Saturday, June 11 from 4:00-10:00 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

The festivities include of evening of food, fun, and live music on Main & Poplar Streets in downtown Rising Sun.

The kick-off event for the season in Rising Sun, the festivities will include Cincinnati deejay J.D. Hughes from 4:00-10:00 p.m.; Joy Unspeakable, The Living Statue from 4:00-8:00 p.m.; and 7 Bridges, The Ultimate Eagles Experience taking the stage at 8:00 p.m. Attendees should bring their own lawn chairs.

Food trucks, arts, crafts, information vendors, and free Kid Zone with inflatables will be part of the event. Several downtown shops and restaurants will be open during the event.

The event is sponsored in part by the City of Rising Sun, Community Spirit Credit Union, Friendship Bank, Rising Star Casino, First Financial Bank, and the Beacon.
