(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – A former Lawrenceburg High School French teacher has won a prestigious award.
Mary Bradley, also known as Madame, received the Indiana Retired Teachers Association AMBA Clock Award for being an outstanding volunteer.
Bradley’s volunteerism starts by being a member of the Dearborn County Retired Teachers Association and the Dearborn County Retired Teachers Foundation.
She goes far and above to personalize hand-written letters to sponsors and donors, and now sews and mails all barrettes to various missions.
In addition, Bradley continues to be active in local French Club, and assists with special education classes as a chaperone. Bradley also takes time out of her busy schedule to care for a friend with health issues.
