(Franklin County, Ind.) – Lane closures will be required as a resurface project continues in Franklin County.
The Indiana Department of Transportation contractor Paul H. Rohe Company began milling operations on State Road 229 last week.
The work is part of a $700,000 resurface project north of Interstate 74 near Batesville and Oldenburg.
Milling operations are currently taking place near Oldenburg. Paving will begin in Batesville on Wednesday, August 14, followed by Oldenburg upon completion.
INDOT says lane closures will be in affect along the route. Flaggers will be on-site to maintain traffic.
Paving is expected to finish by Friday, August 23.
The entire project should be completed by mid-September.
