Record Snowfall Recorded at CVG

(Wilmington, Oh.) - A record amount of snowfall was recorded on Sunday. 

According to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Wilmington, a record snowfall of 8.4 inches was set at CVG. 

This breaks the old record of 6.9 inches set in 1977. 

 Other area snowfall totals are as follows, according to the NWS: 

  • Union, Ky - 7.2 inches
  • Warsaw, Ky - 7 inches
  • St. Leon, Ind. - 6.8 inches
  • Greendale, Ind. - 6.5 inches
  • Florence, Ky - 6.5 inches
  • Cleves, Oh - 6.3 inches
  • Aurora, Ind. - 6.3 inches
  • Vevay, Ind - 6 inches
  • Lawrenceburg, Ind. - 6 inches
  • Batesville, Ind - 4.7 inches
  • Brookville, Ind. - 4.5 inches
