(Greendale, Ind.) - Two local non-profit organizations are benefitting from a recent community barbeque.
The City of Greendale, Safe Passage, Inc., the Greendale Police Department and Big G’s BBQ and Catering came together on September 13 to provide BBQ lunches for Dearborn County residents and celebrate the hard work of local law enforcement.

Through free will offerings, the event raised $4,400 dollars with the proceeds being split down the middle between Safe Passage, Inc. and the FOP Cops and Kids shopping event.
