Public Hearing Scheduled to Discuss Lawrenceburg's Owner-Occupied Rehab Program

Homeowners interested in applying should plan to attend the public hearing.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - A public hearing will be held on Wednesday, October 19 to discuss the City of Lawrenceburg Owner Occupied Rehabilitation Program.

The hearing is scheduled to start at 4:00 p.m. at Lawrenceburg City Hall. 

The program offers improvements to owner-occupied homes within the city limits of Lawrenceburg. 

Improvement may include: 

  • Roof replacement
  • ADA accessibility up to the threshold of the home
  • Heating and cooling replacement
  • Lighting and electrical upgrades
  • Water heater replacement

The repairs will be offered at no cost to the homeowner. Homeowners interested in applying should plan to attend the public hearing on October 19. Program guidelines will be discussed and any questions will be answered. Applications will also be made available. 

Qualifications:

  • Must live within the city limits of Lawrenceburg
  • Must be single-family, owner-occupied home
  • Home must be insured
  • Home must be on a permanent foundation
  • You must own your home or have a current mortgage. NO contract sales or rentals
  • Must not be in the flood plain
  • You must meet income guidelines (see below)
