(Greendale, Ind.) – A Greendale couple is in jail after police discovered methamphetamine in their apartment.
A teenage girl living in the apartment on Ridge Avenue called police at around 2:30 Monday morning, March 18, stating that her mother and stepfather were in an aggressive argument, according to a probable cause affidavit.
Police arrived and interviewed the couple, Crystal A. Wright and Jimmie J. Saylor. Officers noted the couple allegedly exhibited signs of being intoxicated by methamphetamines. Both admitted to using meth earlier that night.
Wright and Saylor each consented to a police search of their home. Officers allegedly found in the couple’s bathroom a small baggy containing a substance believed to be methamphetamine.
Wright, 38, and Saylor, 40, are each charged with Possession of Methamphetamine with an Enhancing Circumstance (level 5 felony) and Maintaining a Common Nuisance (level 6 felony).
