Pavement Work To Begin In Greendale Tuesday

Work will occur on a number of Greendale streets and alleys over the next few weeks.

(Greendale, Ind.) - City of Greendale residents are being alerted about an upcoming pavement project.

Paul H. Rohe Company plans to begin the milling of old pavement on Tuesday, October 16. The project will see work done on Ludlow, Sheldon, and Broadway streets, in addition to various alleys throughout Greendale.

City manager Steve Lampert says significant patching work is need on Old Shelton due to prior work by Sycamore Gas. Work on Old Shelton will take place prior to any final paving work.

If possible, city residents are asked to park all cars and trailers in driveways and off the street for the next few weeks to help speed up the project. Door knockers will alert residents where they will be working and on which day.

All work is weather dependent.

Anyone with questions or concerns should contact the city manager's office at 812-537-2125.
