According to the Patriot Water Company, both ordinances passed at Thursday's Town Hall.
The passage of the ordinances will increase water bills by 45 percent and sewage bills by 122 percent.
Rate increases will be effective starting with July 1 billing.

(Patriot, Ind.) - Patriot Water Company customers may be in for a water and sewer rate increase.
Two ordinances will be read for a second time at Town Hall on Thursday, May 13 at 5:30 p.m.
Under the ordinances, customers could see a 45 percent increase on their monthly water bills, and a 122.5 percent increase on sewage bills.
According to Clerk Treasurer Linda Fisk, there has never been a sewage rate increase in Patriot, and the water rate has stood in place since 2011. Fisk tells Eagle Country 99.3 that the water rate increase would fund upcoming water projects only, while the sewer increase is to keep the sewer system operational.
However, a concerned citizen stated that the increases "would have a tremendous impact if they do this."
Rate increases would impact approximately 4,500 water customers in the county, and 100 or less sewage customers in Patriot. If the ordinances pass, utility bills could increase from around $45 a month to $75.05 a month.
Thursday's Town Hall will be open for public comment, prior to an expected vote on the two ordinances.
