One Seriously Injured In Two-Vehicle Crash In Florence

The crash took place Friday afternoon on I-75.

(Florence, Ky.) - One person was seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash in northern Kentucky.

Florence Police responded to the crash on Interstate 75 just before 5:00 p.m. Friday.

Police say a passenger vehicle struck the rear of a box truck, causing the truck to strike the concrete median and overturn. A passenger in the box truck was ejected and sustained a serious head injury.

The passenger was airlifted to UC Medical Center and is currently listed in critical, but stable condition.

The two drivers were treated for minor injuries.

The names of those involved have not been released at this time as the investigation is ongoing.
